What We Do

stockphoto.lol is an AI-powered web application that transforms your selfies into humorous stock photo scenes. You upload a photo, select a scene (like "laughing alone with salad" or "thumbs up with rising graph"), and our AI generates a transformed image for you.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use stockphoto.lol. By using our service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Acceptable Use

When using stockphoto.lol, you agree to:

• Only upload photos that you own or have permission to use
• Not upload inappropriate, illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Not upload content depicting minors without proper consent
• Not use the service for automated or bot-based usage without our permission
• Not attempt to circumvent any rate limits or security measures

All uploaded content is automatically moderated by AI (OpenAI's moderation system). Content that violates our policies may be rejected. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.

Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to your original uploaded photos and the transformed images created from them. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Our Content

stockphoto.lol retains all rights to:

• Scene templates and descriptions
• AI transformation prompts and algorithms
• The stockphoto.lol website, branding, and design
• Any watermarks or branding applied to images

Watermarks

Free transformations include a stockphoto.lol watermark. This watermark identifies the image as created with our service. HD downloads purchased for $0.99 do not include the watermark.

License to Use

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, transform, and temporarily store your images as necessary to provide our service. We may also use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics and service improvement.

Payments & Refunds

stockphoto.lol offers the following paid features:

• HD Downloads: $0.99 USD per image (high-resolution, no watermark)
• Scene Packs: $3.99 USD (unlock multiple premium scenes)
• Individual Scenes: $0.99 USD per scene

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in USD.

No Refunds

Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for HD downloads, scene packs, or individual scene purchases. Please review your transformation with the watermarked preview before purchasing the HD version.

Download Expiration

HD download links expire 1 hour after purchase. Please download your HD image promptly. We are not responsible if you fail to download within this timeframe.

Service Availability

stockphoto.lol is provided "as is" without any guarantees. We strive to keep the service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee:

• Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation
• Any specific uptime or availability
• That the service will be free from bugs or defects
• That transformations will meet your expectations

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any features or the entire service at any time without notice.

Data & Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Here's what happens to your data:

• Uploaded Photos: Processed immediately and not permanently stored on our servers
• Transformed Images: Temporarily stored for sharing (30 minutes) or HD purchase (1 hour)
• Analytics: We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics to improve our service
• AI Processing: Images are sent to OpenAI for moderation and transformation

By using our service, you acknowledge that your images will be processed by third-party AI services (OpenAI) as necessary to provide the transformation functionality.

Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content
• We are not responsible for how you choose to use your transformed images
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

You use stockphoto.lol at your own risk. AI-generated images may contain unexpected, inaccurate, or unusual content. Always review your transformations before sharing or using them.

Account Termination

Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to stockphoto.lol at any time for any reason, including violations of these terms. We may do so without prior notice.

Your Right to Stop Using

You can stop using our service at any time. Currently, stockphoto.lol does not require user accounts, so there is no formal account deletion process.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of stockphoto.lol after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of stockphoto.lol will be resolved in accordance with U.S. law.
